Our Founder
Dr. Alan Emerton, our founder, is a qualified veterinarian from University of Pretoria, class of 1978. With a deep passion for orthopaedic surgery, Dr. Emerton established Surgical Systems to address the needs of veterinarians, initially focusing on veterinary goods. Today, the company has expanded its offerings to include a diverse range of products for various medical fields. Since retiring, Dr. Emerton has been actively involved in an animal welfare organization in Cape Town, bringing his expertise and compassion to the forefront of our operations.
Our Team
Our office is managed by Abby Prokopes, who is supported by Clinton Frantz. Together, they ensure that our operations run smoothly and that our customers receive the best possible service. Our team's commitment to excellence has built a strong reputation, with word of mouth being a significant driver of our success.
